Saying goodbye to someone close to you is really difficult.
A memorial tree is a very tasteful and appropriate living gift to commemorate a loved one, relative, friend or a family pet.
Our trees are perfect for any occasion (weddings, birthdays, etc). However, they are an especially comforting way to honour a life.
Wonderful Way To Mark an Event
Planting a tree is a wonderful way to create a memorial or to mark an event. Not only will it be beautiful, but it will remain for generations.
Depending on where it is going, the size you require, whether you want it to flower, bear fruit or be evergreen, we are happy to advise you.
After you have chosen the perfect tree, we would plant it for you in your chosen place. We will produce bespoke aftercare guidelines to assist you with the ongoing care of your tree.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to plant the tree yourself, we will talk you through the process, plus we can supply the necessary planting sundries with the tree
Engraved tree plaques can be made available on request.
Options of Planting More than One tree
We are available to plant multiple trees on request, anything up to a small woodland.
“The Wood Matters team has been so creative and helpful. They sourced us the perfect tree for what we wanted and they planted it whilst we all had a glass of bubbly to celebrate Mum’s life. She would have loved it!”
“I can’t think of a more fitting way of remembering our little girl. The flowers on our tree are pink, her favourite colour and it’s beautiful like her! Wood Matters’ support and advice has been invaluable. What a great idea!”
“Dad always had Ben and his team at Wood Matters to look after his trees, so when he passed it seemed an obvious thing for them to help us choose and plant a tree in his name in each of our gardens. He would love that we all have Rowans to grow on in his name.”
“Wood Matters is a local family run business and right from the off, they really ‘got’ what we wanted to do. Brilliant service! Thanks guys. See you when you next check on our trees.”
“We wanted a living tribute that would grow and give joy to future generations to come. Thank you”
